How many people will see Christ coming? These prophecies compel us to look up for

The Second Coming of Christ

Rev.1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him."

"The Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him." (Matt. 25:31) The number of angels is so great that they form clouds of glory around the Savior. On earth, everybody will be looking up, because, a destructive hailstorm, and a mighty earthquake, shaking the whole earth, will take down to ground the cities of the world. (Rev. 16: 18-21) If every eye shall see him, his presence around the earth shall keep an elevation that even the inhabitants close to the poles of the earth are able to see him.

"And they also which pierced him." Here we have to mention, Pilate, Herodes, the Roman soldiers, Annas, Caiaphas, Judas, the Sanhedrin, and all that took part on Jesus crucifixion. To see Christ coming they have to be raised from the dead in a special resurrection before Jesus gets closer to earth.

The Second Coming of Christ is the climactic event of all events on earth. Nothing has ever been like that. The Son of God comes with the glory of the Father, and his own glory, which is life for the ones waiting on him, but it is death for anyone rejecting his grace and salvation. His coming is personal, visible to all; the sounds of the trumpet and the shouts of victory are audible to all. The commotion of the elements adds to the terror overcoming the lost; they claim to the rocks to cover them. Those who pierced him and the rebellious crowd cannot withstand the glory of God, they fall to the ground, and remain dead for the entire millennium, when and where no human being will be alive on earth.

As Christ comes closer to earth, He calls to life all of God’s children who went to the tomb waiting on Him. All the faithful from the six thousand years of earth history, whose names were on the Book of Life, come forth from the grave with new life and a glorious body to meet the Savior on the air. And the faithful children of God, among the living, are caught up together with them to enlarge the cloud of the saved in the spatial journey to heaven. (1Thess. 4:16,17)

While there was rejoicing and praises to God among the saved while Jesus was coming, there is wailing and crying among those who try to hide from the face of Him in the center of the sky. Why? One word makes the difference between the lost and the saved, and that word is love. Love to Him because He created us. Love to Him, because when we departed from Him, He came back as a man, as a sacrifice to buy us back with his blood, with his life. He paid the penalty of death and by His grace we are accepted into the Kingdom of God to be the recipients of an inheritance on the earth made new.

Love is not an empty quality. Love has side effects. It is an active and living principle in the life of God’s children, which impel them to imitate Christ in service and obedience to the the will of God as expressed in His Law, the Ten Commandments. The first four: love to God; the remaining six: love to man. (Exo. 20:3-17) No one can separate these principles of love from the express will of God for man; they stand for ever. God wrote those ten principles, on tables of stone, with His own finger, for all generations. The Holy Spirit is writing the Ten Commandments on the hearts and minds of men and women to seal them for the day of the Lord. Jesus said: Love God supremely and your neighbor as thyself. (Matt. 22:37-40)

When the Second Coming will be? Read the signs of Christ coming in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Jesus said: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matt. 24:14) Today, through satellite television, the printed page, and the internet, this prophecy is reaching fulfillment, this is happening. Three powerful angels, using the voice of Christ followers, are covering the earth with the everlasting gospel, telling the people to get ready for the Second Coming of Christ. (Rev. 14:6-12) The loud message is covering a call to worship God, showing that the hour of his judgment is come, and to remember to worship God on the Sabbath of the Lord of Creation. For those who pretend to worship God, but still are worshipping the powers on earth by their compliance with man made Sunday, the angel is sounding the most awful warning a person can hear. (Rev. 14:8-11) Here again you see the freedom of choice at work: many will obey the Lord; and many will prefer to worship God as dictated by men, and that to God is idolatry, rebellion and obedience to the evil god of this world. One choice is rewarded with eternal life; and there is no life, no source of life, for those preferring the second choice.

On the Judgment above, Christ is the High Priest and the Advocate for his brethren, dispensing grace, mercy and pardon for whoever comes to Him; blessed are those abiding in Christ, their names are written in the Book of Life. (John 15:1-10) When Christ finishes the judgment, the seven last plagues of Revelation 16 begin to fall on those whose names are not in the Book of Life. The last plague brings the global earthquake and the deadly hailstorm. After that, looking to eastern sky, all people on earth will see Jesus coming back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

While the lost or the wicked remain dead on a dark and chaotic planet for a thousand years, the Saved of the Lord that accompanied Christ on His returning spaceflight to the Sea of Glass are now there to dwell on the heavenly mansions. (John 14:1-3) They will see on the books of heaven the life record, the sinful rebellion that made he or she to reject the salvation freely offered by the Savior, and why that person is not found there. (1 Corinthians 6:2, 3; Rev. 20:6)

At the end of the millennium in heaven, the Lord returns to Earth with the New Jerusalem to establish here the capital city of the Universe. On descending, Christ calls back to life all the wicked of six thousand years on earth. Satan feels free again with all those people at his command. (Rev. 20:7-9)

The saved ones are inside the New Jerusalem; the lost are outside on the surface of the earth. From the white throne on top of the city each one of the lost hears his judgment sentence, and they bow down before the King of Kings, and confess His holy name. (Romans 14:11) When Satan recovers his evil intention and incites the multitude to march against the city, no one believes him anymore, but they charge against the deceiver. Fire comes down from heaven, and the earth becomes the lake of fire where the wicked, sin, death, Satan and his evil angels are finally destroyed. (Rev. 20:9-15)

On August 6, 2012, NASA space scientists landed on Mars the Curiosity rover to investigate if the Red Planet could ever have supported life. If man under the limitations of time, death, and environment could do that now, what it would be when man is in the earth made new, with life eternal and a body fitted for space travel?

To participate, you and I need in our hearts love and obedience to accept God's simple covenant of belonging to Him: "and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Rev. 21:7) There, we could see Almighty Creator working wonders on Earth, Mars, and the rest of the planets. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
